but many early religous Jewish settlers
were in fact opposed to Zionism;

I am a Messianic Jew who lived as an14.1.12: relig/judasm/the letter vav:
ultra Orthodox Jew for 18 years before converting.
I moved in circles similar to those of rabbi Kaduri.

Much as I would like to believe
the note is authentic,
it looks like a forgery ...
altered by a single letter
in order to make the Hebrew acronym
come out to YEHOSHUA.

The note states that Messiah will
"Lift up the people
and prove that his word and his Torah stand."
In Hebrew this reads:
Yarim HaAm Veyochiach Shedivaro Vetorato Omidim.

In Hebrew letters this forms the acronym:
YHVSHUA = YEHOSHUA alluding to Jesus.

The problem I have with this is that
the expression "Shedivaro Vetorato"
is not common in rabbinical writings.
Much more common is simply "Divray Torato"
= Words of his Torah or Teaching.
. it appears that the words "Shedivaro Vetorato"
originally were written as Shedivray Torato,
and then the final yud of Shedivray
was altered to read as a Vav
and a second Vav was interposed before Torato
to make it read "Shedivaro Vetorato".
This second Vav does not look like
the same handwriting as the rest of the phrase.

It is possible rabbi Kaduri himself
interposed the second Vav
in an effort to modify the acronym
in conformity to Jesus' Hebrew name.
But it should be recognized that this expression
does not flow naturally
and looks like it was altered in
two different forms of lettering or handwriting.
. a scroll has a number of columns or pages,-- Perez sounds like Peres:
each column of text starts with vav (hook)
as it looks like the pegs of a tent
that hooked the curtains around the tabernacle .
. vav is the 6th letter,
mankind was created on 6th day,
and works for 6days per week;
Messiah comes after 6 millenia .
. the word "generations" is spelled with a vav
only in 2 places:
"generations of heavens and earth"
"generations of Perez",
but not the generations of any other family .

ancestor of the Mashiach [messiah].
