Israel's key to the Promised land no longer fits?:

. the original purpose of the Promised land

was to have G-d followers replace G-d rejectors or idolaters,

but today's Judaism is trying to replace the godly muslims,

who tried to bring globalized religion

from the idolatry of Christianity deifying Jesus

closer to what Judaism was practicing.

. the Prophet of Islam sincerely believed

that he was the final prophet of both Judaism and Christianity, 

here to explain to the world that 

Christianity was guilty of idolatry when it deified Jesus,

and that Judaism needed to accept Jesus as a prophet.

. the key to the Jewish understanding,

is that the Promised land was the god's 

promise to the Jewish people.

. so part of the Jewish belief in a god,

is knowing that the god will bless them

as they struggle to stay in that land.

. as for why Judaism doesn't accept Islam as the new self,

they have evidence that Jesus was a false prophet,

leading the Jewish people to a new religion

that defied its prior prophets.

. for example, Jesus doctrine that the repentant should be forgiven

defies Moses (Exodus 20:5, Deuteronomy 23:2)

saying that children will be punished for the sins of their parents

regardless of whether they repent.

. so if the Prophet of Islam claims Jesus was their prophet

that is proof to them that Islam's prophet 

can't be a prophet of Judaism,

thus Islam can't be the new Judaism.
