5-star/an inspiring (but not magical) book:

. don't let life's little distractions

keep you from following fulfilling your vision.

. be optimistic and specific in the goals you set;

open your imagination about your true potential.

. this book has some of the same goals and strategies as

Dr.Dispenza's "Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself:

How to Lose Your Mind and Create a New One".

https://amzn.to/3S6rBxF[ad]

. but unlike Dispenza, Colaco[p51] doesn't believe

that communicating with the god or your higher intelligence

will perform magic such as "send a stranger to help";

faith is simply about being an optimist;

and allowing you to succeed because you

believed in yourself.

. Colaco[p71] may be warning us about considering magic:

'

... if things don't change, then we must change

so that when [our internal representation of reality]

is altered,

the external will simply reflect what is already within.

. the quote "as above, so below,

as within, so without,"

is one of the prominent writings in ...

The Emerald Tablet of Hermes Trismegistus

'

. I believe that Hermetic text is about magic;

it means: "as is above in your mind,

so the world below becomes",

whereas Colaco is suggesting the inverse of magic,

"as is your world, so your mind becomes."

. Colaco then reminds us to choose carefully

because your {choice} "returns to you

not only what you give, but what you are."

. are you a worker of magic?

. Colaco includes many interesting quotes

while Dispenza has more science references

about the power of visualization

(and magic:

MODULATION OF DNA CONFORMATION BY HEART-FOCUSED INTENTION

).

. Colaco[p77] suggests a reason for

self-sabotaging your relationships

is a fear of being hurt by relationships.

. an alternate theory is that

relationships can be cursed or blessed

by your relationship with our higher power,

and may require reprogramming of

your subconscious mind.

. on p183 he makes a very important observation:

you are the creator of your own emotions;

that is a key to forgiveness,

which is an important part of surviving relationships.
