a new denied XMRV retrovirus epidemic

1.21: news.pol/gemini/healthcare/a new denied XMRV retrovirus epidemic:
Plague: One Scientist’s Intrepid Search for
the Truth about Human Retroviruses and
Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS),
Autism, and Other Diseases .
Regina Clos November 2014:
. For many diseases such as autism,
neurodegenerative diseases, cancer
and ME/CFS (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis
/ Chronic Fatigue Syndrome - ICD-10 G93.3
-- often confused with chronic fatigue or burnout)
the co-author Judy Mikovits has found evidence of
infection with man-made gamma retroviruses
(distant relative of HIV).
An absolute doomsday scenario
- likely more than 6% of the population
is infected with a transmissible retrovirus
that causes, just like its big brother HIV,
an acquired immune deficiency
that consequently results in a number diseases,
the incidence of which has already reached
epidemic proportions.
. the actual facts are simply too horrible,
too threatening and above all too expensive
for governments and insurance companies
to admit to or do anything about .

. see interview with Mikovits .

Judy Mikovits, PhD in biochemistry and molecular biology .
In her 35 year quest to understand and treat
chronic diseases, she has studied
immunology, natural products chemistry,
epigenetics, virology, and drug development.
In 20 years, she rose from lab tech to director
of the lab of Antiviral Drug Mechanisms
at the National Cancer Institute
before leaving to direct the Cancer Biology program
at EpiGenX Pharmaceuticals in Santa Barbara, CA.
She became attracted to the plight of patients with
(ME/CFS) { Myalgic Encephalopathy
, chronic fatigue syndrome } and autism;
and, is primarily responsible for
demonstrating the relationship between
immune based inflammation and these diseases.
On July 22, 2009, a special meeting was held
with 24 leading scientists at NIH
to discuss early findings
that a newly discovered retrovirus
was linked to ME/CFS, prostate cancer, lymphoma,
and eventually neurodevelopmental disorders in children.

Xenotropic murine leukemia virus-related virus (XMRV)
Xenotropic murine leukemia virus-related virus
is a laboratory-derived gammaretrovirus
that arose from the recombination of
two endogenous mouse retroviruses during the mid 1990s .
